Baai of Lagun

The apartments in Curacao that we rent are furnished as one of the most beautiful and special places of Curacao, the Bay of Lagun. The water is so clear blue that you see the fish swim past your feet.

The bay has long been used by the local population. Morning are often given swimming lessons at the school. The fishermen make use of the bay and sail every day to fish. It's nice and quiet and that makes Lagun so special.

For snorkeling and diving is great here. (Dive there) You can sunbathe and because occasionally a breeze is not blowing hot quickly. For a small fee you can hire sun beds for a whole day.
There is a snack item on the beach serving delicious (hot) can make snacks, a sandwich to a flapjack. Almost every day the ice cream along. Morning you to the nearest toko go for delicious fresh sandwiches. Lagun The village lies about 30 km away from Willemstad.

The area is uncontaminated and really like is Curacao. You can walk but it is best when you do this in the Cristoffelpark. At various places are still "slave houses" some of which are inhabited.
If you want to know more about you can visit museums, which is very interesting.

Everywhere you look around you can see many animals such as sand crabs, iguanas and birds typical example of Curacao Sugar Darling and the yellow troepiaal. All beautiful bays (including the great - and the little cut) are nearby and there to look is definitely worthwhile.
Like on the west side of the island - the rough part - where the island "breathe" imagine yourself in a fairy tale.
