Beaches in Curacao

Most boca's representing the small coves can be found in the west of the island. The large sandy beaches are on the south coast.

Playa Kalki
Beautiful sandy beach surrounded by limestone cliffs. Kalki is one of the best places for snorkelling and diving. A quiet place close to West Point. Admission free.


Westpoint Beach
Here is the catch of the day landed. Really a beach to look at all activities. West Point is not suitable for a whole day to sunbathe or swim. The beach consists of pebbles to make footwear essential.

Grote Knip - Playa Kenepa Grandi
Grote Knip is very popular with the locals. Rightly so! Swimming and sunbathing in the beautiful surroundings of Curacao. For the well-trained swimmers reached the reef from the beach but it is a long way, so take care. Much closer to the beach can be beautiful snorkel by the rocks on either side of the beach.

Kleine Knip - Playa Kenepa
Also very popular with the Curacao Little is cut. Here comes the whole family for one days on the beach to play, swim and even barbecuing. So, do not you have the beach to yourself during the weekend!

Playa Jeremi
A narrow, picturesque cove with crystal clear water. Ideal to visit later in the afternoon when the sun is too bright. There is little shade and there are no facilities.

Port Marie
A beach with white sand and 25 parasols. There are showers and toilets and a bar with a large terrace. Great for kids going to take. A nice place for snorkeling and diving. Even on weekends it is quiet.

Cas Abao
Cas Abao has a white sandy beach, clear turquoise seas, swaying palm trees and many umbrellas. Cas Abao is ideal for swimmers, and the reef is a paradise for snorkelers and scuba divers. A raft is vastgemeerd the coast, ideal for sunbathing and games. The beach offers a bar, restaurant, shower and toilet block, a dive shop and massage facility. Cas Abao is open daily.
